Free Wi-Fi – a key factor at hotel choice in the UK
According to research Hotels.com site – 38 % of respondents said they did not choose hotel without a free Wi-Fi. And in the Daily Telegraph polling 98 % of respondents consider accounts for the Internet in hotels overpricing. Nowadays, more than half of the hotels in the UK charge a fee for access to the Internet.
Hotel chain Accor, which owns more than 4 thousand hotels worldwide, decided to provide free access to Internet in all hotels of its network. Baseline Wi-Fi- Internet (512 kilobits per second) became free. Pay for broadband remains unchanged – £ 3 ( 3.6 euros) for 24 hours.
